Registration Procedure
How To Register
In terms of the Land Surveyors Act [Chapter 27:06] a person can register in different categories, e.g. Land Surveyor, Non-Practising Land Surveyor, Land Surveyor-in-Training, Land Survey Technician. The registration process consists of the following stages:
- Completion of an academic qualification that complies with the requirements for registration in the particular branch and category.
- Registration as a candidate.
- Completion of the prescribed practical training (work integrated learning).
- Write and pass the prescribed exams and assessments.
- Registration in the respective category
All applications to be directed to the Registrar of Council of Land Surveyors.
Land Surveyors
- Application letter.
- Certified copy of Certificate of Recognition issued by The Surveyor General.
- Declaration form.
- Certified copy of national identity card.
- Registration fee.
Non-Practicing Land Surveyors
- Application letter.
- Registration fee.
Land Surveyor-in-Training
- Application letter by the applicant.
- Support letter from mentor i.e registered Land Surveyor.
- Certified copy of Degree in Surveying and Geomatics.
- Certified copy of academic transcript.
- Certified copy of national identity card.
- Registration fee.
Land Survey Technician
- Application letter by the applicant.
- Support letter from mentor i.e registered Land Surveyor.
- Certified copy of National Diploma in Surveying and Geomatics.
- Certified copy of academic transcript.
- Certified copy of national identity card.
- Registration fee.
